Description:

The Socio-Economic Classification SOCIO02 was first created for the 2002 income year and replaced SOCIO, which covers the time period from 1994 to 2001. The Socio-Economic Classification is based on information on the main source of income for the person. Based on the source of income, it is determined whether a person is self-employed, assisting spouse, employee, unemployed or outside the workforce, including pensioner, cash beneficiary or education applicant.
