The ADAM model and the ADAM database will be discontinued at the end of 2026

The ADAM model and the associated ADAM database will be discontinued at the end of 2026. The model MAKRO has taken over ADAM’s role within the Danish economic ministries. MAKRO is developed by the Danish Research Institute for Economic Analysis and Modelling, DREAM.

 In 2027, the ADAM database will be replaced by the MAKRO database. The MAKRO database is already being produced by Statistics Denmark in parallel with the ADAM database.

From 2027 onwards, Statistics Denmark will only produce and publish the MAKRO database, including specialized sub-databases (UADAM, etc.).
