Description:

The Socio-Economic Classification (SOCIO13) is based on information on the main source of income or employment for the person. Based on the source of income, it is determined whether a person is self-employed, assisting spouse, employee, unemployed or outside the workforce, including pensioner, cash beneficiary or education applicant. SOCIO13 replaced SOCIO02 in 2014 and covers the time period from 1991 and onwards.
