This indicator throw light on the degree the population benefits by access to public transport within a distance of 500 m from their dwellings. The degree of accessibility are divided in five levels: 1. Very high = More than 10 departures per hour in average and access to both busses and trains/metro. 2. High = More than 10 departures per hour in average. 3. Medium = 4-10 departures per hour in average. 4. Low = Less than 4 departures per hour in average. 5. No service = No departures during the time period 6-20 on a working day at all. The statistic is made up on a working day in December 2019 during the time period 6-20. The indicator is calculated by Statistics Denmark on the basis of data on public transportation stops obtained from Rejseplanen (danish travel planner for public traffic), road data from the Danish Map Supply, population data from CPR and Statistics Denmarks Urban Census.
