For items, the 6-digit number indicates the first six digits of the Combined Nomenclature. For industrial services, the 6-digit number indicates branch code in the Danish Nomenclature.

Purpose and use
The producer and import price indices show the price trends in the first business stage (business to business), i.e. the developments in Danish importers buying prices and Danish producers selling prices for both the domestic and non-domestic markets. The prices are exclusive of VAT and indirect taxes.
The indices are mainly used for economic analysis, fixed price estimations in the national account statistics and for contract adjustments.
