    Documentation of statistics: Relatives

Contact info, Personal Finances and Welfare, Social Statistics , Camilla Østerballe Nielsen , +45 20 28 52 49 , CNL@dst.dk , Get documentation of statistics as pdf, Relatives 2025 , Previous versions, The purpose of the Relatives Statistics and the associated Relatives Register is to map the population’s relatives in a standardized and well-tested manner. It also aims to assess the closeness of a relatives between two individuals based on distance measured in kilometers, as well as whether the two individuals have at some point shared a residence, or whether they share a residence at the time of reference., Statistical presentation, The register of relatives is created once a year as a status register. The number of persons in the register sums to the population count as of january 1st in the year of measurement. With the register of relatives its possible to identify which people in the population have relatives and who hasn't. It is further possible to see what type of relatives a person have. The register can be used to shed light on differences in socioeconomic characteristics or use of health care, depending on which relatives a person have. In the register of relatives the geographical distance is calculated between the home address of main character, and relatives. , Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, The primary source for these statistics are the register of population statistics. From the parent-child relation in CPR, parents, children, siblings, grandparents and - children are identified. Using address and marital status partner and children in law are identified., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, These statistics are relevant for municipalities, regions, ministries, other government organisations and private companies in analyses of a number of conditions of society and as a basis for planning of e.g. services for the elderly, questionnaires etc. Statistics Denmark also uses the basic data and results of the statistics for a number of other assessments., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The statistics are based on the population registered in the Civil Registration System (CPR). Since correct registration in CPR is a condition for being able to lead a normal life in Denmark, the general quality and reliability of the register is regarded as very high. Failure to report immigrations and emigrations means that the published population is considered to be overestimated by 10,000 people or 0.14 per cent. Further cases of missing parent-child registrations have been made especially for the older generations and immigrants. As these statistics are based on an administrative register, wrong registrations of parent-child relations may occur leading to unintended linking persons as relatives. It can also lead to two persons having more than one type of relation. It is estimated that this margin of error is small in the big picture., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, These statistics were published in march 2025. It is the expectation it will be updated every march., Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, Statistics Denmark are not aware of comparable, publicly available, statistics nationally or internationally. Most other statistics are based on questionnaires focusing on the role as relatives or informal caregivers. , These statistics are comparable over time, one does however have to be aware of the coverage of certain relations in the older generation the further back in time one looks., Read more about comparability, Accessibility and clarity, The statistics can be found in the StatBank under the , Relatives, . It has been made sure there's at least 3 observation per cell. , Read more about accessibility and clarity

    Standard multipliers

The multiplier experiments are carried out by changing one or a few of the exogenous variables. Then the model is simulated to calculate the effect on the endogenous variables. There is no provision for possible ties between the exogenous variables. This means that one has to be careful when interpreting the experiments as real world economic events are rarely confined to changes in one exogenous variable., All experiments expand economic activity. In some experiments the effect is temporary and in others the effect is permanent. In general, a demand shock in ADAM like an additional public purchase of goods, affects production and employment in the short run. However, in the long run a demand shock has no effect on employment. In contrast, a supply shock such as an increase in the labor force has a permanent effect on employment. This is in line with most models of a small open economy with a fixed exchange rate and a Phillips curve., There is no monetary reaction function and there is no fiscal reaction function in ADAM, which should be taken into consideration when comparing to models for other countries. Also the specific laws and rules modelled in ADAM (e.g. regulatory mechanisms in taxes and transfers) affect the comparison with other countries., ADAM multipliers - October 2015 (preliminary version), Starting with the October 2015 version, the labour supply multiplier is also calculated with increased export price elasticity in the model., The calculations are made with the model version October 2015 using the baseline lang15., ADAM multipliers - October 2014, The calculations are made with the model version October 2014 using the baseline lang14., ADAM multipliers - June 2014, From the June 2014 version and onwards, all shocks to economic policy instruments have been scaled to represent 0.1 per cent of GDP at constant prices. For multipliers on earlier model versions, the policy shock represented 1000 mill. Dkr. at constant prices., The calculations are made with the model version June 2014 using the baseline lang14., ADAM multipliers - July 2013, The calculations are made with the model version July 2013 using the baseline lang13., ADAM multipliers - October 2012, The calculations are made with the model version October 2012 using the baseline lang13., ADAM multipliers - December 2009, From the December 2009 version and onwards, two multipliers (the public purchase multiplier and the labour supply multiplier) have also been calculated under a budget constraint to illustrate the consequences of a fiscal rule., The calculations are made with the model version December 2009 using the baseline lang11.

The statistics comprise municipal and independent music schools that receive state operating grants and are prepared for the 2012/13 season and onwards by Statistics Denmark on behalf of the Ministry of Culture. Before 2012, the Danish Agency for Libraries and Media (now: the Culture and Palaces Agency) produced similar statistics. , Statistical presentation, The statistics present the activities of the municipal music schools in Denmark detailing the volume of instrument classes and ensembles as well as key figures for staff and finances. The results are primarily presented on the level of municipalities., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Data is collected from music schools through a survey questionnaire and through a transfer of detailed data from the music schools’ student administration systems. Moreover, administrative data on salaries are collected from the Culture and Palace Agency. Data is validated through registry lookups and comparisons with previous reports, and data is tabulated and disseminated through Statbank, Statistics Denmark’s free online tool and database for statistics., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, The statistics are primarily relevant for interest organizations and authorities dealing with music schools, but are also of general interest. The statistics make it possible to follow the development in activities and organization of the music schools., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The statistics cover municipal and independent music schools, which, pursuant to the Music Act, receive state reimbursement for the music school business. Data regarding students, employees and finances originate from the schools' administrative systems, which form the basis for, for example, remuneration and student payments. All students are counted, regardless of how long they have participated in a subject, and administrative changes can therefore lead to overestimation of activity or class. Other information about the school, collaborations, projects and events is reported via questionnaire. Errors and omissions in these reports may occur., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, The statistics are published on the scheduled date about 7 months after the expiration of the reference time., Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, These statistics are not directly comparable with previous statistics performed at music schools due to differences in the applied methods. Documentation of statistics: Producer price index for construction of dwellings

Contact info, Prices and Consumption, Economic Statistics , Peter Fink-Jensen , +45 21 34 76 92 , PFJ@dst.dk , Get documentation of statistics as pdf, Producer price index for construction of dwellings 2026 , Previous versions, Producer price index for construction of dwellings 2025, Producer price index for construction of dwellings 2024, Producer price index for construction of dwellings 2023, Producer price index for construction of dwellings 2021, Producer price index for construction of dwellings 2019, Producer price index for construction of dwellings 2018, Producer price index for construction of dwellings demonstrates trends in prices at the first stage of commercial transactions for the construction of free standing one-family houses, i.e. the producer price incl. direct construction costs and profits, but excl. VAT, cost of land and other costs not directly linked to the construction. The statistic is typically used in analyses of price developments in the construction sector. It has been compiled since 2019 with indices dating back to 2015., Statistical presentation, The Producer Price Index for Construction of Dwellings is a quarterly measurement of price developments of commercial transactions related to the construction of new dwellings, i.e. the price a household or a developer pays the construction company for the construction of a dwelling. The statistic only covers construction of free standing one-family houses, and is therefore not representative of e.g. multi-family houses, terraced houses, general housing, vacation homes or commercial/industrial buildings., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Every quarter approximately 500-1200 prices are collected from a sample of relevant type house construction companies in Denmark. Prices and addresses are merged with relevant information from the Danish Buildings and Dwellings Register (BBR) on e.g. floor area and various amenities. This information is used to calculate the price development of construction of new dwellings., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, The Producer Price Index for Construction of Dwellings is a business cycle indicator, which is used in analyses of economic developments in Denmark. It is used in the Danish National Accounts, and is part of the framework of EU short term business statistics. Surveys of user satisfaction are not performed, but the statistics is part of Danish Statistics' expert committee for statistics on housing and civil engineering., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The collected price observations are examined for errors both manually and by computer. The extend of different error types is therefore considered to be negligible. As the collected data originates solely from typehouse companies, the statistic is considered to be more accurate for typical housing constructions and less so for unique constructions. Also, the used hedonic statistical model does not consider the quality of applied building materials or the quality of the work carried out., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, These statistics are published quarterly, approx. 3-4 month after the end of the reference period., Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, The statistic has a continuous time series from 2015 until present day. The statistic follows international standards and is therefore comparable with similar statistics from other countries., Read more about comparability, Accessibility and clarity, The statistic is published quarterly in the Statbank as , Producer Price Index for Construction of Dwellings (PRIS90), and can be found at the subject page , Indices for the construction sector, . Once a year, in conjunction with the publication of 4th quarter indices (in April), the statistic is published in , News from Statistics Denmark, , which is available only in Danish under the title "Producentprisindeks for byggeri". The statistics is reported to the Danish National Archives on a yearly basis., Read more about accessibility and clarity

Documentation of statistics: The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed

Contact info, Food Industries, Business Statistics , Simone Thun , +45 51 36 92 51 , SIT@dst.dk , Get documentation of statistics as pdf, The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed 2023 , Previous versions, The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed 2022, The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed 2021, The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed 2018, The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed 2016, The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed 2014, The purpose with the statistics on the Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed is to show the annual use of feed for animals and the use cereals, which is a part of the calculations of the feed consumption. The feed consumption is also calculated after the origin of the feed, if is produced in Denmark or abroad. The statistics is also use for the calculations of the Economic Accounts for Agriculture. The supply and use of cereals and feed have been compiled since 1900, but data in its present form are comparable from 1990 and onwards. , Statistical presentation, The statistics are an annual calculation of agriculture's feed supply and feed consumption calculated in millions. kg and million DKK. Feed supply and feed consumption are calculated for a large number of feed materials by drawing up balance sheets. It is calculated for both calendar year and operating year and by origin., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Data for compiling the Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed are sourced from various other statistics and the data are are processed and aggregated. The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed are produced by setting up balances for each individual feed material. The purpose of these balances is to calculate how much is used for feed, ensuring that supply equals usage. The feed balances establish and sum up Danish production and foreign production, subtracting exports. The remaining quantity is recorded as consumed for feed, divided into domestic and foreign consumption. For certain crops and feed materials, stock levels are added to the balance. The compilation is primarily based on the fiscal year, as this approach is considered more reliable. However, calendar-year compilations are also created to support the calculation of the Economic Accounts for Agriculture (EAA)., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, It is relevant for the agricultural organizations, ministries and agencies, who uses it to follow the development in the amounts and costs of cereals and feed. Moreover it is an input to the Economic Accounts for Agriculture e.g. to the valuation of feeding stuff. The users can comment on the statistics in the user committee for agricultural statistics and the users have expressed satisfaction with the statistics. , Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The Supply and Use of Cereals and Feed are among other things build on sample surveys for stock of cereals at farms, the harvest of cereals and international trade of goods and the results are therefore subject to some uncertainty. The data on the use of cereals for feeding are subject to some margin of errors, as the use for feeding is calculated as a residual in the balance sheets. Surveys on stocks and turnovers at cereal trading companies are censuses and the results are quite accurate. Changes in stocks are also a possibility, which can cause uncertainty., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, The statistics is published once a year in May together with the Economic Accounts for Agriculture, barely 6 months after the end of the reference period. Data is preliminary until 2,5 years after the end of the reference period. The statistics is punctual and is published without delay., Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, The statistics have been compiled since 1900 but are in their present form comparable from 1990 onwards. It is in compliance with the current EU legislation and it is an input to the Economic Accounts for Agriculture which is comparable to the Economic Accounts for Agriculture published by Eurostat., Read more about comparability, Accessibility and clarity, These statistics are published in the StatBank under the subject , Feed, fertiliser and pesticides, ., Read more about accessibility and clarity
