For zoos and aquariums with other state subsidies and those that are not subsidized by the state, there can be a variation in e.g. visitor numbers, etc., which is due to composition effects. That is it is not necessarily the same or the same number of zoos and aquariums that are included in the population or report to the statistics each year. Several of the smaller museums do not have the resources to report to the statistics. There are also museums that are not state aid that have asked to be exempted from receiving a form., In 2016, schedules were sent out to 430 museum departments. In 2017, forms have been sent out to approx. 400 museum departments. In 2018, forms have been sent out to approx. 380 museum departments. In 2019 forms have been sent to approx. 370. The reason for sending fewer forms is due, for example, to the fact that museums close, exempt from the survey or have wanted to receive one report despite having several places. In 2020 forms have been sent to approx. 380 museum departments. In 2021 forms have been sent to approx. 460 museum departments. In 2022 forms have been sent to approx. 600 museum departments. The reason for the expanded population is due to a screening of potential museums based on the industry code in the Business Register. The reporters had to answer whether they had a collection that the public had access to. If they answered 'yes', they were included in the statistics. If they answered 'no', they were excluded. In 2023 forms have been sent to approx. 460 museum departments. In 2024 forms have been sent to approx. 450 museum departments. In 2025 forms have been sent to 455 museum departments. , Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, Statistical data are published approximately 5 months after the end of the reference period. For museums with other state subsidies and not subsidized museums, comparison with data before 2016 should also be taken with reservation as population formation changed in 2016. Counties and municipalities, v3:2006

Name: , AMT_KOM_V3_2006 , Description: , Before 1970, Denmark was divided into approx. 1300 parish municipalities, 86 market town municipalities and 25 counties. The Danish Municipal Reform in 1970 resulted by law in a new local and regional structure for the whole country with two administrative levels - municipalities and counties - and thereby a change of administrative units. , With the Danish Municipal Reform in 1970, the number of counties was reduced to 14 and municipalities to 277. Copenhagen Municipality (code 101) and Frederiksberg Municipality (code 147) were the only ones assigned both county and municipal tasks. After the amalgamation of the Bornholm municipalities in 2003, Bornholm's Regional Municipality (code 400) held the same special status as Copenhagen and Frederiksberg. , From 1 April 1974, Sengeløse Municipality was incorporated into Høje-Taastrup Municipality (code 169) and Store Magleby Municipality was incorporated into Dragør Municipality (code 155), which reduced the total number of municipalities to 275. , From 1 January 2003, Bornholm's Regional Municipality (code 400) was established by merging Allinge-Gudhjem (code 401), Hasle (code 403), Nexø (code 405), Rønne (code 407) and Aakirkeby (code 409) Municipalities and Bornholm County. The merger reduced the total number of municipalities in Denmark to 271. , From 1 January 2006, Ærø Municipality (code 492) was be established by merging Marstal Municipality (code 443) and Ærøskøbing Municipality (code 493), which reduced the total number of municipalities in Denmark to 270. , This classification includes Christiansø (code 411). Christiansø is not part of a municipality. Instead it is administered directly by the state through the Danish Ministry of Defence. The geographical breakdown of counties and municipalities is consistent with the Nomenclature of territorial units for statistics (, NUTS, )., Valid from: , January 1, 1970 , Valid to: , December 31, Distinction is made between current expenditures and investments. Current expenditures includes as well internal costs in the enterprises as purchase of services on environmental protection. Results can be further displayed on spending according to environmental purposes: Protection of ambient air and climate, Wastewater management, Waste management, Heat/energy saving and management and Other environmental protection activities. , Statistical presentation, The statistics describes annually the expenditures on direct environmental protection by types of industry within mining, manufacturing and utilities. Expenditure are reported at environmental purposes either as internal operating expenses or purchase of services related to environmental protection. On the investment side investments are split in either prevention or treatment., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Data are collected among enterprises every second year. All enterprises with more than 50 employees are included plus few smaller ones where needed. From 2024 it is ensured that all large energy producers are part of the sample, regardless of main type of activity., The results from data collection are grossed up to totals for each type of industry after data are imputed for the smaller enterprises. These results are supplemented by expenditures in water supply and data from R&D statistics on environmental R&D., In years without data collection, the results are calculated using last years data, changes in turnover according to the account statistics, and the statistics on Investments in manufacturing industries , Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, The results is expected to meet the needs for the users.
