The statistics is available from Q1 1995 and onwards., Statistical presentation, Quarterly financial accounts make up a consistent system, showing the financial flows and net worth of the general government sector of the economy over time. The financial accounts for the general government sector, the financial (transactions) account, which shows buying and selling of financial instruments, describes an important part of the transition from the opening balance sheet account to the closing balance sheet account. Because the financial instruments are valued at market price, another important part of the transition is made up by revaluations, which are shown in the revaluation account. The remaining part is found in the account of other changes in volume, showing e.g. losses on debtors and relocations of units between sectors. As a general rule opening balance sheet + financial transactions + revaluations + other change in volume = closing balance sheet should always hold. When published the revaluation account and the account of other change in volume are combined. The statistics is published both consolidated and unconsolidated and with counterpart information for the domestic and foreign sector, respectively. , Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, The main sources are the accounts of central and local government as well as social security funds. Because of the consistency checks and the data confrontations carried out, the influence of the inaccuracy of the sources is, however, reduced., In principle, it is not possible to measure the level of inaccuracy. However, the net lending/net borrowing across the general government sector, which are calculated before the final balancing is carried out, are comparable with the same measure in the non-financial accounts. The differences can be regarded as a measure of accuracy for the national accounts as a whole., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, Data is published approximately at t+3 months., High degree of punctuality: Data has been published at the announced time since the first publication in 2003., Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, Comparison over time is high as there are no significant breaks in the time series, and none at all for the last 10 years., Internationally the level of comparison is high as the Danish national accounts follow the ESA 2010 guidelines., Read more about comparability, Accessibility and clarity, Current publications: The statistics are published in , News from Statistics Denmark (Nyt fra Danmarks Statistik, )., Subject page: , Economy of the general government sector, ., Read more about accessibility and clarity

The statistics were first created in the aftermath of the financial crisis in collaboration with Danmarks Nationalbank (the Danish Central Bank) and were intended, among other things, to analyze families' resilience to economic shocks. Additionally, the statistics are used in analyses of the pension system and to measure economic inequality. The statistics have been produced since 2014., Statistical presentation, The statistics produces annual data on the value of value of real estate, cars, financial assets, pension wealth and debts. There are also separate and more detailed publications on pension wealth. The statistics are register based and are based on data at the individual level. It is linked to other registers in order to do subdivisions on age, gender, municipality etc., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Data is collected from multiple sources and undergoes statistical processing, including debt classification and market value assumptions for assets such as homes, cars, and unlisted shares. Registers are compiled using anonymized identifiers. Data on pension wealth are also used for the macro economic Model ADAM., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The quality of the financial data is high since most of the data is validated by the tax authorities. There is much larger uncertainty on the imputed market value of owned property, cars, unquoted stocks and the value of lifetime pensions. Data on assets that can not be linked to persons is not included. Data Wealth held abroad by Danes is likely lacking as well. For discretionary reasons the register is top-coded with a maximum wealth of DKK 2.11 bio. , Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, These statistics are published approximately 12 months after the end of the reference year. Publications are released on time without delays, as stated in the release calendar. , Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, Comparability over time varies depending on the wealth component. In the wealth and debt statistics, one must choose whether to use the 2020 series, which includes unlisted shares and debt subject to enforcement, or the 2014 series, which does not. In 2023–2025, there is a major data break due to the transition to new assessment systems, and the coverage of unlisted shares has gradually improved since they were included in the statistics from 2020. Apart from these breaks there is good consistency over time. The estimate is subject to a number of conditions and assumptions on migration, mortality and fertility. The projection is based on the assumption that the development in recent years continues. The simplest and most commonly used concept of productivity is labor productivity, which is used here. Labor productivity (LP) and the causes for the change in LP is calculated back to 1966., Statistical presentation, Productivity is basically a measure of how efficiently you use your resources (labor, capital, etc.) when producing goods and services. In this statistic it is also calculated which resources contribute most to the change in productivity. Productivity change is distributed across industries for the various productivity components. The statistics are disseminated in News from Statistics Denmark and the StatBank., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Labor productivity is defined as the real value of Gross value added (GVA) per hour worked. The calculations are based on figures from market activity from national accounts, i.e. the total economy excluding the sectors: General government (S.13) and NPISH (S.15). The sources used for calculating the productivity growth is fixed capital, Labor force education statistics and sector account figures for Gross value added and hours worked., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, The national accounts (including Productivity statistics) constitute core indicators of the analyses of economic growth. Users are primary researchers, economic departments and organizations., The division of national accounts continuously evaluates feedback from our users., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The precision of the calculation of productivity growth is closely related to the uncertainty of the variables that are included in the calculation. I.e. how well, the value of an hour's work is reflected in the gross value added in fixed prices for the industry; the quality of the calculated hours and whether there are special conditions in the industry that make labor productivity less relevant, e.g. high capital intensity. For multiple industries, labor productivity growth should not stand alone in productivity analyzes. This applies, for example, to dwellings, public administration, education and health., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, First preliminary version of Labor productivity (LP) for year t is published end of March in year t+1.
