How many are suffering from eating disorders?

In 2023, Momentum (KL) has made an analysis based on data from Statistics Denmark and the Danish Health Data Authority: Antallet af unge med spiseforstyrrelse er fordoblet på 15 år (in Danish).
In 2019 and 2020, The Danish Health Data Authority published analyses on eating disorders – spiseforstyrrelser (in Danish) – including anorexia and bulimia.
In 2020, the Danish knowledge council for prevention, Vidensråd for Forebyggelse, issued the report "Mental sundhed og sygdom hos børn og unge i alderen 10-24 år“ (in Danish) on the mental health of 10-24-year-olds, including a section on eating disorders.
