How to request the creation of a new user
Create Affiliation Agreement for User
As an administrator, you can create affiliation agreements for users.
To do this, select the “My Overview” tab on your homepage. Then, select the institution where the user should be created.
- Navigate to the “Affiliated Users” tab. To the left of “Affiliated Users,” click on the “+” icon.
- Here, you can add an existing user by searching for the user, selecting the person, and then clicking “Create Affiliation Agreement.” If the user does not exist, go to step 4.
- An authorization manager or substitute must then approve the affiliation agreement. This can be done at the top of the institution under “Affiliation Agreements for Approval.”
- If the user does not exist, click the “New User” button. You will now need to fill out the form with the correct information. If you select a physical token, the user can only be affiliated with the project once the token has been received by mail. Note that physical tokens are only sent to Danish addresses.
- Press “Create Affiliation Agreement.” Research Service approves requests for new users on all business days.
- Once Research Service has approved, an authorization manager or substitute must approve the affiliation agreement. This can be done at the top of the institution under “Affiliation Agreements for Approval.”
