By 2030, build on existing initiatives to develop measurements of progress on sustainable development that complement gross domestic product, and support statistical capacity-building in developing countries.

Definition
The exact amount of resources allocated to statistical capacity-building can be difficult to assess as statistical capacity-building is often a subcomponent of development initiatives, and thus it is hard to separate out from the total. Since 2019, Statistics Denmark has participated in the Strategic Sector Cooperation led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. Under this cooperation, Statistics Denmark is providing capacity-building for the statistical systems of Ghana, Morocco and Vietnam in different statistical domains.
