Target 9.4: Upgrade all industries and infrastructures for sustainability
By 2030, upgrade infrastructure and retrofit industries to make them sustainable, with increased resource-use efficiency and greater adoption of clean and environmentally sound technologies and industrial processes, with all countries taking action in accordance with their respective capabilities.

9.4.1: CO2 emission per unit of value added
Definition
The indicator is calculated by Statistics Denmark based on the Emissions Accounts and the National Accounts. Data are exclusive of CO2 emissions from biomass. Emissions from Danish operated ships, planes and vehicles are included, according to the residency principle of the National Accounts. Value added is measured in 2010-prices, chained volumes.
