    Definition

    The indicator is calculated based on Statistics Denmark’s land cover accounts. The indicator shows the extent of the selected land cover types as a share of the total Danish area. The land cover accounts are part of Statistics Denmark’s green national accounts, and the indicator is therefore in accordance with the principles of the international environmental accounting manual SEEA 2012, published by the UN, the World Bank, the IMF, the OECD, and Eurostat.
